The Founder

Sivaji Farms is the brainchild of Mr. Siva Rama Raju (popularly known as Sivaji). He is a civil engineer by profession and a farmer by heart with an inherent empathy for nature & community. Born in 1969, he hails from a small village called Satyawada located in the West Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh.

The story of Sivaji Farms began in 2012 when he bought 14 acres of farmland with an emphasis on building a man-made food forest where organic fruits & vegetables are grown. It was his idea was to nurture bio-diversity by integrating everything - From farmers, chickens, goats, dogs, insects, plants & micro-organisms into a single working unit, each interdependent upon another.

At a time when farmers are quitting agriculture, he is persistent in encouraging others toward farming and sustainable living thereby providing hope for a greener future.
